night number 1

ahhhhhhh last night was awful. we let her cry it out for 5 minutes, another 5, then 7, then 10 and then i went in there like i had been to say night night its time for bed, i love you and she had a big poopy diaper. so i layed her on the changing table and she fell asleep before i was done with her diaper. so i feel like it took about 30 minutes all together. she woke up at 130 and i nursed her which i wasn't supposed to do but bri had just fallen asleep and i didn't want him to wake up soooo i broke the rules on night number one... i just couldn't let her start the whole process up to tell him katie was in bed with us katie fell asleep. and she isn't a great sleeper so this was strange. she must have been tired cus usually i have to work HARD to get her to go to sleep. we're talking rock her for 30 minutes or so; so for her to have fallen asleep i thought she needed it. she didn't wake till 930 this morning. now i know this was my mistake. i should have gotten her up and kept her up at 730 and then she would have gone down for an early nap. instead she was awake for the entire day until 230 and only napped for an hour and a half. that's it for the whole day! so lets see how tonight goes!
